🥪 Avocado, Tomato & Chicken Sandwich

A simple yet satisfying sandwich with creamy avocado instead of mayo.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 slices whole grain bread
  • ½ cooked chicken breast, sliced
  • ½ ripe avocado
  • 2 slices tomato
  • 1 lettuce leaf
  • few slices red onion
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice optional, to mash with avocado

Instructions
 

  • Prepare ingredients
    Cook and slice the chicken breast if not already done.
    Wash and slice the tomato, lettuce, and red onion.
    Mash the avocado with a little lemon juice to prevent browning.
  • Assemble the sandwich
    Toast the bread if desired.
    Spread the mashed avocado on one slice of bread.
    Layer with sliced chicken breast, tomato slices, lettuce, and red onion.
    Close with the second slice of bread.
  • Serve immediately
    Enjoy fresh for best taste and texture.
