Fig & Tahini Protein Smoothie

Creamy smoothie with figs and tahini; naturally sweet, high in plant protein.

- 4-5 fresh or dried figs (if dried, soak in warm water for 10 minutes)
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- ½ frozen banana
- 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- scoop plant-based vanilla protein powder (optional)
- 4-5 ice cubes
Add all ingredients to your blender.
Blend on high until smooth and creamy, about 1 minute.
Pour into a glass and top with a sprinkle of sesame seeds if desired.
