Ingredients
  

  • Romaine lettuce (fresh and crisp)
  • Grilled or baked chicken breast (marinated with olive oil, lemon, herbs)
  • Classic Caesar dressing (lemon juice, garlic, egg yolks, anchovy paste, olive oil)
  • Rustic bread (for croutons, seasoned and baked)
  • Parmesan cheese (grated or shaved)
  • Salt, pepper, herbs to taste

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the chicken: Season and marinate (olive oil, lemon, herbs), then grill or bake until cooked through and juicy.
  • Make the Caesar dressing: Blend garlic, anchovy paste, lemon juice, mustard, slowly add olive oil, season, and add Parmesan.
  • Make the croutons: Cut bread into cubes, toss with oil and spices, bake until golden and crispy.
  • Assemble the salad: Toss romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing, add sliced chicken, croutons, and Parmesan on top.

Notes

  • Use crisp romaine lettuce.
  • Grill or bake marinated chicken.
  • Make dressing from scratch (try Greek yogurt or lighter oils).
  • Season homemade croutons; use day-old bread.
  • Add veggies (tomatoes, cucumber, peppers) for color and nutrition.
  • Store salad parts separately for freshness; assemble before eating.
  • For vegetarian, use grilled mushrooms or tofu.
