1teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
1teaspoon sesame oil
1teaspoon sesame seeds
2green onions, sliced
Cooked rice for serving (optional)
Instructions
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and cornstarch mixture to make the teriyaki sauce.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
Add chicken strips and cook for 3-4 minutes until nearly cooked through.
Add garlic and ginger, stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until crisp-tender.
Pour teriyaki sauce over the chicken and vegetables. Cook for 1-2 minutes until sauce thickens and coats everything evenly.
Remove from heat and drizzle with sesame oil.
Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
Serve over rice if desired.
Notes
Use your favorite mix of vegetables, such as broccoli, bell peppers, or snow peas. Serve over steamed rice or noodles for a takeout-style meal at home. For extra flavor, add a pinch of chili flakes or a splash of pineapple juice to the sauce.
