Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • ¾ cup water
  • 8-10 taco shells or small tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup guacamole
  • ¼ cup sliced black olives
  • Hot sauce (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium-high heat until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  • Add taco seasoning and water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • If using hard taco shells, warm them in the oven according to package directions. If using tortillas, warm briefly in a dry skillet.
  • Set up a taco bar with beef and all toppings in separate bowls.
  • Let everyone build their own tacos with their preferred toppings.

Notes

Offer a variety of toppings so everyone can build their perfect taco. For a lighter option, use ground turkey or add extra veggies like corn or bell peppers. Tacos are best enjoyed immediately for maximum crunch.
